The Ten Principles of True Education is for those who want their hearts and homes to be ready for the soon coming of Jesus and want to understand the meaning of True Education from the Scriptures and the Spirit of Prophecy.
In this class we will cover:
- Character Building-The Purpose of True Education
- The Bible the Educator-The Textbook
- The Master Teacher-Methods
- Illustrations-Remember
- The Underteacher-Teacher, Student and the Mind
- Physical Culture-Mental, Spiritual, Physical
- Teach Truth-Books, Drama, Dress, Finance, Music, Toys and Children’s Play
- Obedience and Discipline-The Character Qualities
- Teaching the Academics from the Bible-Health, Math, Music, Nature, H/G/P, Language, Voice
- The Higher Course-Continuing Education
After the class we will take the rest of the year to implement what we have learned. Our ultimate goal is that each family in the class will be able to claim this promise:
One well-ordered, well-disciplined family tells more in behalf of Christianity than all the sermons that can be preached. Such a family gives evidence that the parents have been successful in following God’s directions, and that their children will serve Him in the church. Their influence grows; for as they impart, they receive to impart again. The father and mother find helpers in their children, who give to others the instruction received in the home. The neighborhood in which they live is helped, for in it they have become enriched for time and for eternity. The whole family is engaged in the service of the Master; and by their godly example, others are inspired to be faithful and true to God in dealing with His flock, His beautiful flock. {AH 32.1}

What day does this course begin and end?

The course begins on January 1st and will last for the year. The first 8 or 9 months will be Lessons 1-10 and the remaining months of the year will be practical application.

I would also love to be part of the training, I am homeschooling but not a qualified teacher so I need all the skills to go forward. on top of everything I do not know where to start with sonlight curriculum. Thank you

Thank you, we do need true education. I have lmown about Jesus second coming since I was about thirteen years old. In 2006 after the birth of our first son I started asking the Lord for deliverance from mediocracy in my christian experience in 2008 we found out alot more from “amazing discoveries” and in 2009 I quit my career. With intensions of doing medical missionary work. After a long hard journey I realised how really destitute we are as individials and in the protestant church in 2016 we became active in a church in a country setting but we were frustrated and started doing true education at home. This afternoon I saw how the heat of summer ripens the fruit for the harvesting of most of the usefull things in nature and also that which is useless and for the fire. And it reminds me of DA.31 as the stars in their courses the purposes of God knows no haste or no delay. Happy to be here.
